Short version: we collect what we need to book you in and pay your specialist, we keep it safe, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
Your name, email, phone and, if you share them, notes about your appointment such as allergies or preferences. When you book, your payment card is collected by Stripe, never by us: we store only a reference, the card brand and the last four digits. If you sign up for our member portal we also hold your login email.
To book, confirm, remind you of and pay for appointments and classes, to apply memberships and class packs you have bought, to charge the fees in our policies when they apply, to contact you about your booking, and to keep our records for payroll and accounting.
Our owner and front desk. The specialist you book with sees your first name, service and time. Service providers we rely on: Stripe (payments, PCI compliant), Supabase (our database, hosted in the United States), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages) and Netlify (website hosting). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell or rent your information.
You receive booking confirmations, reminders and changes by email and, if you gave a number, by text. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts. Marketing messages are sent only if you ask for them.
Our database and backups are hosted by Supabase in the United States, so your booking information is stored outside Canada and may be subject to the laws there. Card data lives with Stripe.
Booking and payment records are kept for seven years for tax and accounting. Member portal accounts stay until you ask us to close them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those record-keeping duties.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw consent to messages. Email connect@herwellnessinc.ca and we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, card details never touch our systems, and staff logins are individual. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you.
Our services are for adults. A parent or guardian provides information and consent for anyone under 18.
